Blackened Salmon Broccoli Alfredo A Creamy Fettuccine Pasta Dinner
Blackened Salmon and Broccoli Alfredo features bold, Cajun-seasoned salmon atop creamy Alfredo pasta tossed with tender broccoli. This rich, flavor-packed dish balances smoky, spicy crusted fish with a silky parmesan garlic sauce and fresh greens.
Ingredients
Method
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. In the last 2 to 3 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets to the pot. Drain and set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, cayenne, salt, and pepper. Rub the spice blend all over the salmon fillets.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the salmon for 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until blackened and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, stir in the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and cook for 2 to 3 minutes, until the sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked pasta and broccoli to the sauce and toss until fully coated.
- Serve the pasta topped with blackened salmon. Garnish with parsley if desired.
Notes
- Use dry salmon fillets for the best blackened crust
- Don’t overcrowd the pan—sear salmon in batches if needed
- Steam broccoli just until tender to retain color and crunch
- Adjust spice blend to control heat
- Pair with garlic bread or light salad for a complete meal
